In-Home Assessments
A comprehensive assessment identifying in-home limitations resulting from sustained injuries.
Our therapists conduct in-depth interviews, perform anthropometric and functional examinations, and observe the claimant's abilities to complete activities of daily living in their home environment. This allows us to develop a clear picture based on the claimant's status and provide beneficial recommendations that facilitate recovery and promote active independence. This assessment typically takes 2-3 hours. Features of In-home assessments include:
- Objective and subjective measures.
- Consideration of cultural specific activities.
- Determination of seasonal activities.
- Educational recommendations and training, ensuring implementation of safe techniques for activities within the home.
- Determination of the need for house cleaning services or house cleaning aids.
- Completion of a detailed report outlining background information, all observations and measurements, and well supported recommendations.
